Arrested Development

There aren't all that many original ideas left out there, but Arrested Development was definitely one of the few truly original tv shows. Completely hilarious while also showing the epitome of human depravity and selfishness, this show was pure genius. Two seasons was not nearly enough.

Twin Peaks

Totally weird and completely incomprehensible, you've gotta love the oddness that is Twin Peaks. Maybe if they had another season they would've been able to make some sense of it all, or maybe utter confusion is what David Lynch was going for. I guess we'll never know.

My So-Called Life

How is it that Beverly Hills 90210 had a gagillion seasons, following a pack of high school brats well past college, but My So-Called Life got the shaft after one season. Great characters, interesting plot lines, this show portrayed some pretty serious teen issues in a non-condescending way.

Freaks and Geeks

Before there was My So Called Life there was Freaks and Geeks. Maybe we just weren't ready for a painfully honest portrayal of teenage life, but damned that show was awesome. And it gave us such stars as James Franco, Seth Rogan and Judd Apatow.

Veronica Mars

One of the best shows that has ever been aired. It was kicked of television when the channel it was on got new owner shop. It was left with too many questiond unanswered.

The State

One of the few creative television shows to come out of MTV, this sketch comedy show was totally hilarious. And many of it's stars have gone on to bigger and better careers. However, where many shows go on too long, many seasons after the writer's have run out of material, The State was going strong when it was cancelled.

Greg the Bunny

Okay, I will admit that I only watched this show while under the influence ... but it was hysterical at the time and deserved another season. C'mon ... Seth Green, Eugene Levy ... this was the makings of comedic gold.

When you think about it, this show was WAY more interesting than Beavis and Butthead which it was spun-off from. Yet, I guess intellectual sarcastic humor just isn't as marketable as two idiots hitting frogs with baseball bats and eating burritos.

Some of the guys from The State collaborated on this very funny comedy, but I guess it was a bit too random to get renewed for another season.
