The ugliest cars of all time

The First time I saw one, I said: "That goes to the top of my ugly list. Glad to see it in first place here as I type this. My faith in humanity is restored.

Aztek is an insult to the U.S. automobile design profession.

I parked close to an Aztek a few days ago and looked it over closely. It is not a good looking car ... in fact the front and rear have extremely poor styling. Granted it is only one person's opinion but I have been following car styling for about 45 years and this is one of the worst designs I have ever seen. I have also owned several Pontiacs in the past and liked them alot ... however, the Aztek seems destined to failure.

Very plain design, made much worse by the "rear end" view that resembles Pontiac Aztec.

This car is devoid of styling appeal. It is a matter of personal preference I guess, but this one is a dud.

This Chrysler looks very unusual and does not have any graceful styling lines. Maybe not the worst by a ways, but probably a top 10 contender.

Well, it is unusual. If this was 1940, I might have though it nice looking. It has a sort of classic appeal. However, the styles that have come out from the mid 60's onward, push this car to a high position on an ugly list.

Ah yes, the infamous corrugated snail. Certainly deserves to be in the top ten on this list. Perhaps the only car here, that is worse than it looks.

Corvettes, in general, are beautiful cars. A lot depends on your frame of mind. If you are a mindless Chevy hater / Ford Sycophant, then you will see the Corvette as not all that. Not until the Ford GT (not the mustang) did Ford manage to come up with a production car to match the corvette in looks or performance, but even then, it is at more than twice the price (understandable) and the styling is borrowed from a 60's race car, and even that was pretty much a Lola design. However, consider the 1953 Corvette. If that came out today, would we judge it beautiful? I think not, so without getting model specific, I can see the inclusion of the Corvette here.

To place Corvette on this list is ridulous. Almost all of the early year models are highly sought after and have great styling.

Some Corvettes are better looking than others ... but I find t difficult to believe that any of them would be classified as "ugly." I believe it is wrong to have this highly respected GM vehicle on this list.
