The R8 is a full on sports car to challenge the likes of BMW and Porsche. But it doesn't beat the 911 as the ultimate point to point sports car.

Without a doubt, there are many good looking German cars out there. This one is the only one that could be described as 'gorgeous', however.

rightly so. not only is the db9 one of the most beautiful cars ever made it is also one of the most desirable and i think the greatest grand tourer ever made. astons always have the beauty effect to them and the db9 is no exception.

Elegant, sophisticated, fast, and beautiful... It's got everything you would ever want. The one-77 is fast and great looking, but it doesn't have that... essence about it. Not even the new Virage has this in my opinion.

It may not have the lines of other cars but its got the attitude. However, why is the median age of a Shelby owner 54yo? The price or are they compensating for something else?

The Shelby gt500 isn't exactly beautiful but it has the usual brawny and brash factor to it, as most american muscle cars do. And I like this factor of muscle cars.

The "shark" Corvettes, built from 1968 to 1982 (and especially those with the sugar-scoop rear windows 1968-1977) are the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. I had a 1976 L-82 model, fully optioned and it always turned heads.

I was speechless when i saw this car by far the most beautiful car i have ever seen the only reason an aston martin DB9 comes first is thers alot more on the roads when you see one off these trust me you will realise its the best looking car ever and it sounds great to but this isnt a noise contest

well it is a lot better than the 850i (assuming i means it because it looks like an it), and PLEASE google it. It is... well... beautiful. And looks and 220 mph performance is worth the £1,450,000.

This is one of the coolest and most beautiful cars ever. It was also the first road sports car with a transverse mid/rear engine. in 1966. This car was a total innovation in the sports cars field and started a revolution of what a supercar would be in the future. Lamborghini Miura was the original, the 1st and most classic supercar ever built.

Solstice is also a great design, but the Sky hit the ball out of the park, obviously the reason it was carried over seas and sold as Opel GT and Daewoo G2X while the Solstice stayed stateside. I agree one of the best looking cars in the last 20 years, from GM, from anyone, for its price.
