Abraham Lincoln Report Abuse
Where to start? He defeated the Confederate Army and managed to keep the fledgling nation from collapsing during the Civil War. He freed four million slaves with the Emancipation Proclamation. He unified the National Military. In addition to these tremendous feats of statesmanship he was one of the best public speakers among the Presidents and was known as a soft spoken, morally sound, noble human being.

He’s the first modern pres to do what he says. Whether you like it or not, it’s nice to know what you’re getting. I know I maybe a weird one, but not everything I do is fun or works right. Any politician who does is blowing smoke.
