Ripped from the headlines, they keep bringing what’s going on “out there” into our homes.

HBO’s amazing series that combined the weight of The Godfather with the humanity of any well-done series, making deeply flawed characters likable. Let’s face it – it’s not easy to like mafia types and unlike every mafia storyline that came before, we liked Tony for his vulnerable and venerable humanity.

The most realistic, harrowing and best written show ever. What was amazing was how they could create so many "minor" characters and make them so memorable:
