Mogadishu is regarded as the most lawless and dangerous city on Earth. Mogadishu has had no effective government for 18 years. Safe travel through Mogadishu is only possible by convoy with heavily armed guides and guards, which actually can be hired quite easily. Even with guards, the likelihood of being injured, kidnapped, and/or killed is still very high. Independent travel is suicidal.

This one's fairly obvious, I can't think of a worse place at the moment to settle down and live your life. Details are sketchy but conservative estimates put Iragi deaths over 100,000 since the war started and that number may be as large as 1 million. Daily car bombs, shootings and rape make this a less than stellar city to live in.

This city has been going downhill since the 60s, but it has been a gangsta rough city since it was incorporated and the Mafia days of the early-mid 1900s. Cleveland has lost over half of its population since around 1960, when it peaked at near a million residents. The city is now majority Black with a lot of Hispanics, the only white people left are too poor to move out to live with their suburban counterparts. The city was recently named the 7th most dangerous city in America, and has been in the top 10 several other times. It was also named the poorest large city in America 3 different times. The city has over 100 gangs. 3/4 of the drugs that go through Ohio go through Cleveland first. The murder rate is 33/per 100k over 6 times the national average. Filled with vacant lots and abandoned buildings, Cleveland is one of the worst cities ever.

A small ghetto steel mill city in NE Ohio outside of Cleveland. The city has been going downhill since the late 70s and will never recover. There are shootings and stabbings on a daily basis. Many murders per year. The city is 3/4 ghetto and filled with nothing but gangsta blacks, puerto ricans, and mexicans in gangs. A giant steel mill and the Ford Plant which employed 18,000 combined are completely abandoned now, now the major employer in Lorain is South America bringing in drugs, drug dealing, and robbing. The city is in terrible condition theres a lot of vacant lots and boarded up housing and buildings, most of the industrial and commercial buildings are abandoned. The rest of the city is made up of Section 8 duplexes and Public housing projects. 3/4 of the streets in the city have potholes that could total your car, like driving on the moon. Most of the cities residents survive from robbing and government assistance/welfare.

Brazzaville , Congo was considered for many years “The Worlds Most Dangerous city” and “The Worlds Worst Place to Live” – although recently that distinction is given to Baghdad. The local government is completely corrupt, electricity and water are only haphazardly available, and according to the UN more than 40,000 guns are in the hands of Congolese citizens

It is the 'crime capital' of the world. A city of spitting people, a city of clutter everywhere, a city bursting with people everywhere, a city of 9 million vehicles, and a lot more.

a poor crime filled ghetto near cleveland all of the jobs have left the crime rate is comparable to cleveland and detroit... theres barely any white people left and they are leaving at a alarming rate for the suburbs... lorain has a lot of blacks and ricans who are in the gangsta culture... 3rd worst school district in the state after cleveland and youngstown

the southside area of elyria is very ghetto and mostly black... the only white people left are too poor to move to the suburbs... the hood is made up of mostly old broken down or boarded up houses section 8 or projects... terrible schools... there are several gangs in this small area who beef with other elyria gangs mostly on the westside and beef with eachother... 6 point star crip affiliated area... the murder rate and crime rate is comparable with cities like detroit and camden

Once one of the wealthiest and most peaceful cities in Africa, Abidjan has been torn by rebellion and Civil War for the past 5 years. According to Amnesty International, thousands of women have been butchered, raped, and sold into slavery since the conflict began. UN Peace Keepers have been unable to control the ethnic as well as rebel violence, and have failed to maintain peace.

Terrible air, lots of gypsies and homeless people, smog, arrogant people

What a horrible, expensive, ****HOLE of a city, with bull**** rules, taxes, 9 out of 10 people don't speak english, ****ing place actually smells like a garbage dump. People there are rude, unhelpful, worst customer service & always "passing the buck" to someone else so you can't get what you pay out the ass for. Sub standard healthcare, like a 3rd world country. **** city should be 1st on the list in FRONT OF Bagdad. Wish the ****ing place would burn to the ground like it deserves to. SO glad I moved to the USA & out of that sack of **** place. Enjoy your 15$ happy meal Toronto, I'll enjoy the SAME thing for 3$ US. HAHAHAHA!

Guatemala City is about a dangerous a place as the traveler is ever likely to pass through. The buses have bullet holes in them, gangs rule the streets and scars from the civil war and deaths squads of the 80’s (largely thanks to US financial and military backup) have left a legacy of violence that shows no signs of abating.
