Spokane's metropolitan area is around near 475,000(acquired from multiple sites). People in the northwest are football crazy. There would never be a problem selling out games. Also, by the way, Spokane is the LARGEST city between Seattle and Minneapolis. That is 1400 miles. Fans would be attracted form far and wide from the place called, pause for dramatic effect. . . The Inland Empire!

Los Angeles Stars being renamed from the Vikings dynasty they had in the 60s and 70s
first of all LA already had 2 teams and the people there couldn't be bothered. secondly no one is born in LA, they all move there and are already dedicated to other teams. i know arny is building a stadium but i don't see the people in LA even bothering
3.
They already have baseball and basketball, so football makes perfect sense. Great city that loves the NFL.

Growth is very evident in Louisville with the population more than tripling in the past ten years.

With the new UFL football team they sold out the first game and are having to turn people away. (24,000 people)
If the UFL does not suceed I think Omaha could support a NFL team and would have a hard core following. The people in that area love football

There are no teams between Denver and Oakland. The television market for a team in Salt Lake City is huge! It would encompasses western Colorado, all of Utah, North to Montana and West to Reno.
Comments:
Lived here my whole life, and I know for a fact that people here are dying for an NFL team… all 2.4 million of them. Ya no I haven't heard any mormons against an NFL team either, us mormons aren't even the majority of the population...
I live in utah the stupied mormans won't let utah have a football team anyways.

sorry, even with a million people, thats much smaller than cities with triple that population that don't have an NFL team. Portland, San Antonio, Salt Lake, especially LA
The best city in the southwest, hope we get a pro football team.
Albuquerque almost a million people in the metro area. The NFL would be loved here!

Actually, this would be nothing like Oakland and San Fran which are right across the bay from each other. Columbus and Cleveland are 2 1/2 hours from each other.

The titans! Memphis and West Tennessee could care less about the titans.
How about The Southern Sounds or Memphis Kings? They can get fan base from West Tennessee, all of Mississippi, all of Arkansas, West Kentucky, and parts of Alabama.
yeah, but with the amounbt of minority thugs in that town, it could be another Raider gang town

Great Britain loves the NFL as evidenced by the games held at Wembley over the last few years. There's more support for the NFL in London than there is in LA for an expansion team. Future supersonic aircraft being developped will make travel times a lot less as has been the case with Concorde in the past. This will make a franchise in London and elsewhere less of an issue in the future with the distance.

work on the bucs first. then the jags then the dolphins and then come back with something.
the bucaneers are already one of the lesser profitable teams in the nfl. not a chance or will there ever be of 2 teams. it's not even a very big city
