The Bible Report Abuse
The Bible was a long time banned in Europe in the papan middle ages ,because people were not allowed to read it. The Chruch feared that the people would realize that the teachings of the Bible are not the same as the teachings of the church. Also it was banned in communist eastern Europe and China for a very long time. It is still prohibited to spread it in many countries of Islam. Even in laizistic Turkey it is dangerous to be seen with a Bible.

This book long considered a classic was banned because of a very controversial scene at the very end of the book. A man who is starving gains nourishment from nursing from a women’s breast, who had recently had miscarriage.

Banned possibly for the sake of a joke, this book about censorship and book banning is one of Ray Bradbury’s best. The reasons given for why it was banned was that one of the books burned was the bible, which was taken to meant that the author supported the burning of the bible.
