The Wire

By far the greatest, most well put together, well acted, tv show of all time. It takes all the typical for example "cop," "political", "crime", "mystery" tv genre shows and combines all of them in one show and does them better than any other competitor in any category. Get through the first couple episodes of cursing and a tad bit of confusion and you will be transported into a world where you will literally never want to leave, at a distance of course haha.

The Sopranos is Shakesperian in concept. It is a true tragedy. It never goes for cheap laughs or predictable cliches. I think it stands as the greatest TV series of all time.

Truly brilliant piece of work. i liked how they had interviews with the actual men the series was based on. Unfortunately the main character, the lieutenant, has passed away recently. God Bless.

Seriously...this is the most dramatic and heart-breaking serie ever. If you can fell emotions you just cannot live without seeing the painfull and tragic end of this amazing tv serie. There is NO OTHER series that will never offer you that moment...any movie neither. Characters are so much lovely... As an human being you need to feel this pain and live it for 63 episodes. This is once in a life, i'm not kidding.

Brilliant show - if you loved Seinfeld, you will love this, perhaps even more. By the time this came out, Seinfeld had been gone for a couple years so the circular storylines were slightly more thought out, better crafted, and of course written very well when it was not improv'd. And, all by LD himself - the real genius behind Seinfeld. Not to take any thing away from Jerry - just a really well done show.

Enlightened
