This inn features traditional mud-n-salt rock houses, as well as sitting in between an olive and date groves. During the day you can tour some of the many wonders just outside Cairo like Cleopatra's Bath.

Black Sheep Inn: Equador

This is is perched 10,500 feet in the Ecuadorian highlands south of Quito. Glass ceilings bring sunlight onto their gardens for their vegetarian meals. After an hour in their "green" sauna enjoy a nice glass of rum.

BANJAAR TOLA, INDIA

This is not the traditional rugging it in the jungle. While the camp is made of 18 tents, there is hand wood carved furniture and private pools. Be sure to check out the local wildlife.

After a 45 minute flight from Nairobi, this campsite features wildlife, and local culture. Sit by the fire at night and listen to local stories about warriors, or while hiking during the day learn the uses of the medicine trees. This is a good vacation for all the family.

If you want the Robinson Caruso luxury vacation then Chumbe Island is the place. With seven bungalows outfitted with solar heated showers this is surely luxury for any rugged camp. Be sure to take a visit with the local rangers to view the wildlife.
