This is a great battle. The best feature is how it makes you thing that the king (Leonidas) is going to give up to Xerxes, but instead, he throws a spear at Xerxes.

This battle has great "effects". The shaking camera, the dark atmosphere, and the general feeling make this scene great.

Yes, but historical nonsense. The Germans never attacked so stupidly. They used the guerrilla tactics, because they knew that the Romans had the better weaponry and were almost invincible in the open field battle. Because the Germans were capable warriors the Romans very quickly enlisted them in their armies. It were Germanic tribes who gave the Roman Empire its death blow in the end.

The Persian immortal scene in 300
This scene was really, really cool, but it was a little unrealistic and the immortals faces were too exaggerated. The immortals weren't monsters!

True, but this movie is told from the perspective of the surviving spartan (the one with the wounded eye), so all the scenes in the movie describe the story he was telling.

The last battle in Robin Hood
This battle, even the whole movie is not thought of as it should be. The battle at the end was amazing, the shaking cameras and great actors. It may have been a little better if Russell Crowe was a little younger, and looked more like Robin Hood, but the battle was still great.
