Ocean's Eleven Report Abuse
This is one of those rare times when the remake far surpasses the original. The cast is all-star: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Don Cheadle, Julia Roberts, Bernie Mac... the list goes on and on. This movie is extremely intelligent, with many twists and turns, and definitely one of the best heist movies ever made, where you are really rooting for the thieves.

Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring Report Abuse
The Lord of the Rings trilogy is truly amazing literature and turning literature into films almost always loses value, vision, and meaning. This is one of the rare cases (along with the Harry Potter films) where the films really bring the books to life and paint a picture.

Memento Report Abuse
Truly one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen but I immediately became addicted. The movies starts at the end and goes to the beginning which sounds confusing but really makes the movie make more sense. The twist at the end is truly shocking and no matter how many times I see the movie I am still shocked by it, even though I know what is going to happen.

Donnie Darko Report Abuse
Jake Gyllenhaal plays angsty better than anyone and this movie is a trip, for sure. Jake plays a time-traveler with a giant bunny named Frank as his best friend. This movie is very strange, very dark, and feels like an acid trip. It is truly amazing to watch.

Monsters Inc. Report Abuse
Rarely do kids movies find their way into my top 5, but this one is just so good and so adorable. I love the jokes that are meant for adults, rather than children, and Boo is the cutest little girl on the planet, animated, or not. And somehow Sully really looks like John Goodman...

Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone Report Abuse
The first of the Harry Potter movies and probably the most magical because it is the first movie that paints a picture of the beloved world of magic and Hogwarts. I have seen this movie no less than 30 times and I am always captivated and in awe just as the students are when they get the first look for Hogwarts castle. Everything is very vivid and fantastical.
