Best books by Piers Anthony

Both of my young teenage sons (They are now adults), were introduced to adult reading with this first of the Incarnations of immortality series. Just as I had fallen in love with the pure joy of reading it, both of them did also. If you are having difficulty with your teenager wanting to read for fun I recommend this book, simply the very best to grab their attention.

Just in case you thought it impossible to make the Devil a likable fellow, think again.

Piers Anthony; making you think outside the box.

When this book was first published I enjoyed it immensely, as I did the first few in this series. I am sorry to say this but after you have read 10 or 15 books filled with puns the novelty wears off. This book was the first and deserves its spot close to the top.

I often thought Piers should have written a series of books just about the, 'Games'. Once you read Split Infinity and Blue Adept I bet you will feel the same.

Fun to read from the first page to the last.

Part of the Blue Adept series. Once again Piers Anthony writes a series of entertaining books with a completely new story line. The next few books listed from that series are almost a tossup in my opinion as to which position they each should hold.

Completely caught me off guard. Don't get me wrong this book was loads of fun to read however the premise was something unexpected in a sci-fi book. I mentioned earlier that my teenage boys at the time of their reading this book ofter read it while in the bathroom. Enough said.

If I had created a list of all of his books, for my taste this one would still be dead last. Perhaps it was because I had to work so hard to understand it. I know that my ego took some very hard hits as I sat, read and sweated over the terminology in this book. Yes, once again the concept was great, looking at life on another planet. The explanation of how they are looking at this alien life as it was millions of years ago because of the time it takes the light to reach us. After that, the sweat started pouring down my forehead.
