Turkey's Nest

The Turkey's Nest remains completely "old school," representing the Brooklyn that your grandparents probably remember. But you can sit at the bar, lit up by vintage neon beer signs, and drink a beer out of a large styrofoam cup.

Spuyten Duyvil

Dozens and dozens of obscure bottled beers, as well as a great selection of appetizers make this bar an attraction to people from all over the city.

Radegast Hall and Beer Garden

Bratwurst, kielbasa, and schnitzel ... oh my! This bar looks like it's straight out of Bavaria. And with a mouth-watering selection of lagers and ales, it's the perfect place to go hang out at one of the long wooden picnic tables and make new friends.

Barcade

25 locals beers on tap, many of them local, combined with 30 vintage video games, make for one awesome bar. Bar goers can pay a quarter (just like the old days) and play Donkey Kong, *******, Tetris, Dig Dug, Tapper, etc etc.

The Gutter

This warehouse turned bowling alley is truly something to behold. The story goes that they shipped in all the decor from a bowling alley that was going out of business somewhere in Ohio, and of course this bowling alley hadn't redecorated in at least 30 years. Microbrews and bowling are a combo you can't miss.

Brooklyn Brewery

It's only open on the weekends, but with Friday happy hours and a free pint when you take a tour, this bar can't be missed. And the long wooden tables allow for excellent socializing.

Bushwick Country Club

Don't be fooled ... this bar isn't in Bushwick, nor is it a country club. But there is a mini golf course out back with a PBR windmill. Classy.
