The Best Places to go for Smoothies in the Continental US

I'm a traveler, and a smoothie aficionado, and believe me when I say that not all smoothies are created equal. You can buy a smoothie mix off the shelf at your grocery store, but there is something about the way certain places make them by hand that adds a special something.

Island Joe’s Coffee and Café, Key West, FL

Perhaps it has something to do with the atmosphere - or the scenery, but outside of the Caribbean, Island Joe's Smoothies are the best I've ever had for total flavor, thickness and overall pizazz.

Nothing like a cold, thick, fruity smoothie on a hot summer afternoon in New York City. Soup and Smoothie makes them so thick, you literally have to wait for them to melt a bit - or eat them with a spoon.

One of the best smoothies I've ever had, you can close your eyes and see the fruit they use. If I hadn't had it in the dead of winter it probably would have been further up my list.

You can't really GO to Debbie's Smoothies. Debbie's smoothies has to come to you. An excellen caterer in the Carlotte, NC area, the smoothies served by Debbie's Smoothies will blow you away.
