There is no limit to the amount of children that can play this game, or the number of places that can be invented to hide in. Combined with the fact that absolutely no props are needed in order to play, Hide and Seek will come out on the top of anyone's summertime game list.

Hop Scotch Report Abuse
As long as you have pavement (driveway or sidewalk), a piece of chalk and a pebble or stick to toss, you can play hop scotch. Another utterly adaptable game, hop scotch can be played with as few or as many children as you have on hand.

Another classic, frisbee requires only the frisbee disc and can be adapted to any number of players. Throw in a few canines into the mix and you can have yourself an awesome summer event.

Croquet is a timeless favorite summertime game. While each croquet set has only eight mallets and balls, multiple sets can be combined to accomodate the number of children playing, and references to Alice in Wonderland can make this fun for even young children.

Another classic favorite. Tag is adaptable to any number of kids and any sort of playing field, combined with the fact that it can be played without any props makes this a top of the list summer game.

Suburban Soccer Report Abuse
Suburban Soccer is an awesome game for large spontaneous groups of kids. All you need are four goal markers, a ball (any ball will do) and as many kids as want to play split into two teams. It can also easily be adapted to any playing area from cul-de-sacs to lawns to sidewalks.
