A gental giant of a heavy horse, the chesnut breed are dying out. Not many people know about them and there are only 300 left, making them one of the most endangered animal in the world. supporting heavy horse centres and charities can really help.

Native to China this species is already extinct in the wild. There are small breeding populations in captivity however and hope is that this species can recover.
