Also there is Alfonso Andre from Caifanes, now that you mentioned a mexican drummer. Listen to caifanes, theyare great too, a lot more dark concept.

This guy is great. Is a very comprehensive drummer. Also the band is great, they are very commercial band but they are great musicians.

What!!? What is this guy even doing on this list? He is a very average drummer, this guy is so overrated like the band he is from. Anyone on this list could play circles around him...Seriously who suggested him?

This guy is one of my true favorites, he incorporates rudiments with unespected timing. Even though some of his drumming might sound simple he can suprise you once you try to play it. Also he's one of those drummer who likes to incorporate the choke, something that is almost never done when using double pedal.

How in Gods name is Haake at 79? He murders stupid Jordison. Another problem is no Mario Duplantier. Take a look at the song The Art Of Dying by Meshuggah, and you'll know what I mean.

This guy taught Dave Lombardo how to play double-bass...you guys need to do some research. This is quite possibly the fastest double-bass drummer, and most technical drummer, in the history of metal. Anyone doubting this should check out some of the work he did with Death, Strapping Young Lad, Dethklok, Dark Angel, ...I'm rambling now.

Omar is one of the best studio and live drummers of all time. Listen to him on Peter Gabriel and Sting solo albums and live versions of the same songs!! Not all great drummers are in well known bands, but a few like Omar are hand picked by the top artists of our time to perform on their albums AND on tour. Omar deserves to be in the top ten in part for this reason.

Came up with the Purdie shuffle for Steely Dan. This is the beat that was borrowed and reinterpreted by Jeff Porcaro on "Rosanna", “Fool in the Rain” by Led Zeppelin, and Death Cab for Cutie's “Grapevine Fires”. And that's just the beginning....

Korn brought a new era to the rock ind. David Silveria was a part of that and a hella good drummer.

I'm not saying that being the fastest twin-kicker makes you a great drummer, but this guy when he was 16-17 (maybe younger) would put the majority of doublers to shame. Forget Korn, have a listen to LAPD. He retired because his wrists couldn't cope. Doesn't that say something?
