Once known as the Victoria Terminus, boasts a spectacular stone dome, turrets and arches. This immense station has unusual wood carvings, tiles and ornamental railings.

Located on Euston Road between its neighbouring station, Kings Cross across the road and Euston in the other direction. It is the gateway to continental Europe via Eurostar to Paris and Brussels. Also services to Kent including Dover and Canterbury, Sheffield, Leicester and Nottingham. A separate St Pancras station nearby, located below ground level has regular trains to Luton Airport and Bedford in the north, Gatwick Airport, Brighton, Wimbledon and Sutton to the south. In the near future, Peterborough, Cambridge and Horsham will be linked to this ever expanding Thameslink network.

This is a Beaux-Arts building which serves as a transportation hub connecting train, subway, car and pedestrian traffic in an efficient way.

Located between Bishops Bridge Road and Praed Street in this inner residential west London area. Destinations include Heathrow Airport, Reading, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter and Oxford.

Centrally located just beyond the City of London boundary alongside the A10 (Bishopsgate). It is the terminus of the Great Eastern main line to Norwich, one hundred and fifteen miles away. Other destinations include Cambridge, Stanstead Airport and Southend's Victoria station serving the popular Essex seaside resort and shopping area. Nearby areas include Shoreditch, Moorgate and Barbican.

Also known as the Southern's 'royal terminal' because of its proximity of Buckingham Palace. It serves many destinations including Gatwick Airport, Brighton, Eastbourne, Dover and Canterbury. It has a bus station outside with regular services serving other London destinations including the West End. It is a regular visitor of many, many railtours usually departing from Platform 2 most notably the Orient Express.

This South Bank based terminus has more than twenty platforms mainly serving the South Western division ranging from Hampton Court to Portsmouth, Chessington to Bournemouth and Ascot to Salisbury. It is of course the original site of the first London terminal that gained access to continental Europe between 1994 and 2007 before St Pancras took over. Its 'East' station is linked via a pathway to and from the main station that serves regular trains to and from Charing Cross across the river towards London Bridge in the other direction, south east London including Greenwich and Lewisham, Kent and parts of East Sussex including Hastings. Many railtours have departed from Waterloo over the years including the Bournemouth Belle and the 'Buffer Puffer'.

Built as a gift to the Sultan Abdülhamid II by German Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1908, the castle-like structure not only has a stunning interior but also boasts views across the water. It is built on 1,100 wooden beams hammered into the sea bed and is surrounded by water on three sides. The station even has its own ferry dock, so if you’ve extra time you can head out on the water for some great photo opportunities.

This station is with the best view in the world, it is a popular stop off for Mexico's Copper Canyon train which takes visitors along one of the deepest canyons in the world. Pose for photos at the canyon edge where you can stare down into the vertigo-inducing expanse or simply nibble on the sandwiches and tortillas freshly cooked at the station by the colourfully clad Tarahumara Indians.

It is like a miniature jungle. Passengers may be surprised to find themselves sharing the domed atrium of the station with exotic plants and palm trees. But for those having some time to spend in the station, there is nothing more calming that sipping a coffee in a café overlooking the 4,000-square-metre tropical garden.
