Haggis Report Abuse
To make this disgusting Scottish New Year's recipe, you have to first get a sheep stomach. Then, you fill the sheep stomach with fat, oatmeal, and chopped sheep liver, heart, and lungs. After that, you pour whiskey over the entire mess. Lastly-- if you have any common sense-- you should set it on fire!

Here are some cool facts about celery: - Celery reduces blood pressure. - Celery lowers the risk of cancer. - It takes only an ounce of celery seeds to grow an acre of celery. - Celery has been used and grown by humans for over 3000 years. - It takes more calories to eat celery than celery has to begin with. - Sadly, the above facts don't change the fact that celery tastes SIMPLY AWFUL.

Lutefisk Report Abuse
Lutefisk is dried whitefish (normally cod, but ling is also used) treated with lye. It is gelatinous in texture. Its name literally means "lye fish". Its a disgusting Swedish dish. And a taste that can never be acquired.

From about 15 and higher the answers are kind of ridiculous. Who doesn't like vegetables like onions, green olives, mushrooms in the right context. They are all great on pizzas. But some of the exotic stuff like Haggis, Lutefisk, Balut are truly nasty.

I have NEVER used leftovers to make casseroles & I've made plenty of them. I always go to the store to get the ingredients. There are definitely some NASTY casseroles out there..that's for sure. Right before mine are done, I like to sprinkle cheese or buttered crackers or bread crumbs on top & then bake then some more to get a crispy crust & edges...mmmmm.

Poster under me needs to just... ugh i donno, but green bean casserole is my favorite. I would taste any other types of casserole also.

Okay, caseroles are kind of old fashioned (in a bad sort of way, there's good old fashioned food also) and I always did hate green bean caserole. Finally agree with something on this blog (other then vegemite, it's gross)

surströmming Report Abuse
Just enough salt is used to prevent the raw fish from rotting (chemical decomposition). A fermentation process of at least six months gives the lightly-salted fish its characteristic strong smell and somewhat acidic taste. And then it is canned. The Swedish do some terrible things when preparing fish.
