Boston
* There has been a huge amount of modernization on the MBTA, including stations & vehicles over the past 30 years.
* The system is almost completely handicapped accessible. The very few remaining stations without elevators are getting them soon. Buses, trackless trolleys and newer LRVs are all accessible.
* It is not as expensive to ride as some other cities.
* The MBTA is a fairly clean system.
* There is not much serious crime on the MBTA - it's fairly safe to ride, even at off-hours.

Comments:
The older trains are slow and in poor cosmetic condition. Time predictions are only accurate within 2 minutes. Many of the stations have visible mould. During weather changes, the screeching of the brakes/rails is definitely a hazard to one's hearing.
