With more than three times as many as its closest competitor, USA comes in at number one. There are almost 15,000 airports in this country alone; a whopping 30.4% of the world’s airports.

More or less there are 250 airports all over the Philippines, included the CAAP-classified airports, unclassified airports and airfields, airports being planned or under construction, military airports and airfields, and cairports that was already closed. Coming in at a distant second place is Brazil with 4,176 airports. Shockingly, not even a single Brazilian airport is on the top 20 airport passenger volume list.
