Who ever posted the comment about Canada having lots of nuclear weapons either doesn't have an idea of what he or she is talking about or is so full of **** that it isn't even funny. I am in the Canadian army so i would know. In fact we have an official document saying that "Canada has never, does not currently, and will not in the future have an interest in possessing nuclear weapons". Just because we have lots of uranium doesn't mean that we have lots of nuclear weapons. For everyone else out there do not believe this guy. well acually Canada does have lots of nuclear wepons and proof for this would be that Canada is rich in uranium but nobody knows we have alot of nuclear wepons because Canada has never talked publicly about it or threatened to use them.

Australia trains every unit in the same way with the same ability to defend them selfs and attack as the infantry do thus meaning we don't need huge garrisons to defend our support lines, sorry America but training cannon fodder to jump in the grinder does not count

As an Australian soldier i can proudly say i agree we undergo 80 days of the most greulling training followed by either career based training or placement with a unit we have been on numerous occassions been labelled as " the most tactical ground forces" by many militaries including the United States we earn this through proffessionalism, trust, smarts, and strength. i have no doubt that we should be higher on the list and im just a supply coordinator but when push comes to shove im just as prepared as any infantry due to our in depth training

Australia should be the first on the list. Our Military is THE BEST TRAINED military in the world, ask any soldier from any country that has been with an australian in a battlefield, and they will tell you how good we are, and our Special forces (SASR, TAG etc) Surpass any other Special forces group on the planet, our downside is the numbers of our troops. We may be small, but we bite hard, VERY hard.

Ever since its establishment after World War II, South Korea had been through a lot of history and advancement. Today, in order to deal with China and North Korea, the ROK military is one of the most technologically advanced in the world. Having the sixth largest army, along with the second largest reserve army, South Korea is among the only countries that can deal with the communist threats. It is also a very well trained as proven in numerous amount of exercises with it's neighbors and America.

Britain should easily be at the top. It's small size works to it's advantage because it makes them a lot cheaper to train. The British army does not rely on the latest equipment but relies on the strength and bravery of it's members there fore should take the top spot with Germany as a close second.

Most here have not read the question properly. The "What country has the best trained military?" is what was asked. Not equipment, not size. The British Armed Forces are the best trained in the world bar none.

Our training programe for infantry lasts for over 33 weeks and for special forces like SAS/SBS for substantially longer so we should be close to top 3

this is funny cos you do know that some of Britian's special forces like the SAS, SBS actually train most of the country military in tactics they use you know.

I am a Singaporean and there are shows on the television showing some of the military equipments we have. Aside from good readiness, the 3rd generation SAF soldiers are equipped with high tech accessories. Machineries produced in Singapore are also advanced. There are also high tech training programs with visual stimulation. I am guessing Singapore is one of the country advanced in military

That was the same on my BMQ (L) course. By the end of the course, we had less than half of what we started with.

keep in mind 'best trained' not best equipped, the us is too grab anyone you can and pass them through basic. out of 150 troops I was told 140 make it through. In my own basic in Canada out of 70 recruits we were widdled down to 32. Standards mean everything in a selection of the best military force.

Having the best army in Balkans and one of the strongest army in Europe. Greece for years spends the most money in military equipment compared with the other countries of Europe. Some Special Forces of Greece are: O.Y.K=Underwater Demolition Command, L.O.K=Mountain Raider Companies, 32nd Marines Brigade. The Mobilization capability in wartime is over 1,500,000 troops.

Indian Army was Highly Trained Army in the world and recently Indian Army wins International Cambrian Patrol. Indian Army also a member of UN Keeper and contribute from years. many wars fought and winning by Indian Army so it must be in top 10

The Irish army is very well trained. This is why they are often one of the first armies to be called up for a United Nations peace-keeping mission. Though they are neutral.

The Philippine Military Academy was patterned after the US' West Point. All graduates from this academy will get a rank not lower than a lieutenant. South African Special Forces a.k.a. "Recces" or "Rekkies" are one of the most underated Special Operations Group in the world. South African military budget was cut, but yet the training is still extremely instense. South Africa deploys more soldiers on Peace Keeping Missions than any other african country. The Air Force uses Top Class Jets aswell as tactical helicopters, which for the record are not the same as the "Apache" which the US Military uses. Naval strength is astounding as Simon's Town Naval Base was named one of the most well protected bases worldwide. Army wise I don't know much, but the army Task Force uses a wide array of weapons. My parents are Navy and Air Force. I'm going Air Force myself, so nobody can say I know nothing....

first of all it was a weak hadith, and it means that the Egyptians are in war position all their lives, that is why they are supposed to be good soldiers because of the constant warring state and the experience, i don't know as soldiers are we really the toughest or not but the moral is, we have been occupied thousands of times, and for periods from three to two hundred years, and we have managed to win, as a nation, against every invader and managed to get him out, so the Egyptians are the best resisting nation in the world, the best when it comes to resistance and bearing pain and suffering, we can handle all that, and that is just history, not my enthusiastic opinion and my testosterone rush to prove i am the man...anyway, it depends on training and weaponry and having your soldiers really fight face to face with an equal enemy and not some resistance pockets which remained out of pure luck after a massive air raid ...

Second, Egyptian have lost three big battles with Israel in 1948, 1956 and 1967 and in 1973 it was not complete victory Do you still believe that we are the best soldiers in the world.
