Worst Characters on Gilmore Girls

A last minute addition to the later seasons of the show, April's character was unrealistic and had no chemistry with Luke's character (her father). It was almost as bad as when The Cosby Show added Olivia at the end, or when Growing Pains added Luke. It was just completely unnecessary.

Probably the most bland, boring and generic character on the show. Whilst a lot of characters were over the top, in reality, there are a lot of weirdos/quirky people, and not so many "normal" people. Nicole was so bland - even bland looking - and often quite smug. I understand how Luke would be attracted to Anna and Rachel - but NOT Nicole. I can't say it enough - she was boring, not good looking, uninteresting and full of herself for no good reason.

Dean's cling-on sibling. Her only redeeming quality on the show was that she bogarted Dean's attention so that Jess and Rory could share that whimsical sleigh-ride together

Great at first, but when he comes back???? Ughhhhhhh. Pressuring Rory to lose her virginity, not only that but cheating on his wife? Tell me that doesn't make him one of the worst characters, I mean, don't get me wrong, I loved Dean at first, but when he comes back??? Please tell me I'm not alone in thinking this.

Taylor's control freak nature was meant to provide comic relief, but it just made him a terrible character.

Jess' unrelenting anger and chip on his shoulder attitude made him difficult to watch. It was completely unbelievable that sweet Rory would've been attracted to him since he was awful to everyone but her.

As sweet as Lane was, it made Mrs. Kim even more awful of a character in contrast. She had very few redeeming qualities, and her flaws far outnumbered them.

Although it might have seemed like a good idea to have Lorelai have a dog with a personality as unique as hers, the result was far too over the top. His multitude of quirks (e.g., fear of the porch stairs) became annoying rather than cute.

This really doesn't need any reasoning.
