How can anyone with at least average intelligence say this young man is overrated? Do I have to go down a list of outstanding, HOF players in different sports who never won a championship?

For all his potential, and all of his talent, he underperforms year after year....

Look, I hate the Yankees as much as any other non-New Yorker....but.....Jeter is a winner, and a fine player. If anything, he's underrated.

Bronze medal, 4 scoring titles, and MVP award, number 1 pick in draft and all while barely being 6 foot tall.

Ya know, as someone who started out as a Jordan fan I gotta say that if they called the game for him like they did for other superstars, he'd still be considered one of the greatest ever but he doesn't get as many championships or scoring titles as he did. Plus he benefited greatly by playing in a league past it's golden era of great teams. He was simply on just a very good team in a decade of mediocre teams.

Held all three major titles for 4 years while being the youngest champion ever at 20 years old. And holding the fastest knockout at 8 sec. 50-6 with 44 knockouts. Come on that is like one of the best records ever.

Having MJ's name on this list just goes to show how ridiculous and irrelevant it really is. There are a few athletes who revolutionized their sport, and whose names are instantly thought of when their sport is mentioned. Babe Ruth in baseball, Gretzky in hockey, Tiger Woods and Jack Nicholson in golf, and Michael Jordan in basketball. Quit living in denial and give credit where it's due.....

The greatest statistical QB of all time, The guy who can destroy any and every Defense in the NFL, The guy who will break all records (TD's, Yards, completions etc...) If He plays just 3 more years is overrated? anyone who thinks he is should get their head out of there @ss.

This is sickening. The man loses one Super Bowl and instantly people jump on him. While I like other quarterbacks more, he IS one of the greatest of all-time. To claim anything less is moronic.

he was one of the best baseball players of all time and he did it without steroids(barry bonds). He is banned from baseball for gambling, meanwhile players like bonds shoot up with steroids. w t f

Apparently another disgruntled Dodger, Yankee, or Pirate fan that Rose tore apart during his career just had to add him to this list. What Rose did during his playing career was remarkable. He's the greatest singles hitter in history, period. He played baseball the way it was meant to be played, and he made every team he played for better. The man was a baseball god, pure and simple. Live with it.....
