There was a UK version that started in the 1980s. Leslie Crowther was the presenter and Central Television made the programme. In the 1990s, Bruce Forsyth was the presenter and Yorkshire Television made it. Revived again during the 2000s and I think Joe Pasquale presented it.

First broadcast in the 1950s but I know it was revived during the 1990s. Des O'Connor was the presenter. First part, Yes/No game. The contestant has to avoid saying it within a time limit e.g sixty seconds. If saying 'Yes' or 'No', a gong is heard. The second part, the contestant with the longest amount of time in the first part introduces him/herself, then is asked questions which lead to picking a number ffrom one to ten. He/she has to choose, take the money or open the box. In any of the boxes, it could be good such as a cash prize or an European rail holiday with spending money or worse such as a bowl of pasta. Then, there is box thirteen which is the tricky bit. Suppose you find a toy kangaroo but the trick is kangaroos can be found in Australia so therefore he/she wins a holiday in Australia.
15.
At its height during the 1980s and early 1990s, it was so popular. I think the contestants were students/graduates. Bob Holness was the presenter and Central Television made the programme. In 2012, it revived when former radio DJ Simon Mayo presented it.

Ran for many years during the 1980s and 1990s made by Tyne Tees at its base in Newcastle. Tom O'Connor was the presenter.
