From the brilliant pilot to the parting of Crockett and Tubbs, this iconic cop show set the precedent for all that followed. Movie-quality production values, coupled with the brilliant range of Don Johnson's acting abilities and the engrossing stories provided top-notch entertainment for most of its 5 year run. It set the style for men's clothes [and beard stubble] in the background of fast-moving plots and romantic encounters.

This is the other show I still watch on TV. Monk is a lovable character and the stories are often funny and show the brilliance of the character. Occasionally a dud episode appears, but those are rare. Sad the series will be ending after this next season.

I've loved Doctor Who since I discovered it in the 80s. I've seen all of the episodes that have been discovered. Sadly many of the first 2 doctors have lost forever.
I was glad when the series was revived that the writers mostly remained true to the original series. This series has often had great story lines, with the occasional bad one and some poor special effects. It has certainly addressed relevant issues of the time.

Never has a show been so good at making fun of real people and having their own plot line at the same time

This is a great British Comedy series. It is also a wonderful romantic series, but one that men can get. The characters are really special and you can't help but be fond of each and every one of them.

Still has an impact when watched today - so influential on so many shows that followed it. Rod Serling = Genius.

with a 'twitch' of her nose, Elizabeth Montgomery placed a Spell on America during the 60's and 70's; was ranked #1 show on ABC for many years. American fell in love with "Samantha" and vastly enjoyed many of the other talent in the show.

is a show about two sisters, Jessica Tate and Mary Campbell and their families. The two families have all sorts of problems such as: Sarcastic butlers, a war hero who's still living in 1940's wartime and Mary's 2nd husband who once thought he could make himself invisible and was abducted aliens, just to name a few.

This is a great comedy detective series currently run on USA. It has great characters and fascinating story lines. Great TV. I only watch two shows on TV now and this is one of them.

The tale of an incompetent, selfish and cruel Duck (voiced by Jason Alexander), his health nut sister in law, 3 sons on 2 bodies, comatose mother in law and jack of all trades partner. An intelligent, satirical cartoon meant for adults.

That starred Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis. Not long later, the makers of Nescafe Gold Blend took their inspiration from the American programme and produced a series of adverts during late 1980s/early 90s period. Sharon Maughan and Anthony Head were the couple in all of the adverts.

Central Television originally made it during the early-mid 1980s and then was picked up by the BBC in the 2000s. Jimmy Nail was one of the actors and thhen turned to music afterwards.

This was a Channel 4 comedy from the 1990s. Peckham Rye station in Greater London, one of the opening scenes and a catchy tune. Of course, it was later used in an advert for a well known butter/margarine brand.
71.
Based on the American equivalent 'Who's The Boss' featuring a mechanic and a high flying businesswoman. Ran for several seasons during the 1990s and Central Television/Carlton made this one. A young Kellie Bright appeared in many episodes and greater things were to come including now as a soap star.

Another UK series about the setting up of a cold case squad made up of retired police officers and at times can be quite entertaining.

This animated series (or rather several series) from Japan was produced in the 70s and early 80s. One of the best animated series ever and does not suffer from the darker anime that came later. This is a very up beat and lets save the world series where the characters, while human, are truly noble of spirit.
