Roy Halladay Report Abuse
Old school pitcher who goes the distance and strikes out more guys than others face. Doc Halladay is a straight up - hard core dude. My favorite pitcher EVER.

Also consider that Halladay pitched the whole decade in the American League East. He pitched half his games in a hitter's park, and he only had the chance to pitch to pitchers in interleague play. The Toronto teams were rarely heralded for their defense in the 2000's either.

Randy Johnson Report Abuse
The Big Unit lead Arizona to a World Series, and racked up huge strikeout totals everywhere he played. He was without a doubt the most intimidating pitcher of the late 1990's and early 2000's - bar none. it's rare to see a lefty who stands almost seven feet tall throw a ball 95 mph and often hit his spot. The big unit did. And when he missed, it was usually because a bird got in his way.

Led both the Diamondbacks and the Red Sox to World Series Championships. A dominant force every season. Hall of Fame worthy numbers and no one can forget the bloody sock incident.

A 2 time All Star and 4 time World Series Champion. His regular season win percentage is only over shadowed by his utter devastation of opponents in the post season. Oh, and he has the most starts, and most innings pitched in post season history.

A Yankee thru and thru, "the moose" epitomizes Yankee dominance. He even put a capital D in it when he retired in 2008, after winning 20 games. (only the second pitcher in history to retire following a 20 win season)

Whether you love him or hate him, Javy Vazquez has the stats to tell you he is a dominant pitcher, with over 2000 strikeouts, in the decade. Probably the best Puerto Rican born pitcher ever.
