This movie contains the best presentation of Jesus of all Bible films. And the film also shows true heroism comes from dedication to the good and godly things.

Excellent movie, but it doesn't rate with movies like the second on this list, computers or not. Definitely Hammy. It was a good movie in its time.
Added 2 months ago by guest, 7 points Vote + to improve this comment's ranking Vote - to decrease this comment's ranking
The acting is hammy by today's standards but you have to look beyond that. This is true art. Admire the film for what it is and not what it isn't. Learn to appreciate it as a milestone in the history of cinema. Filmmaking wasn't so easy back then, they didn't have computers and green screens and all that jazz.

Orson Welles and Joseph Cotton, with Valli as the love interest, were superb against the backdrop of wartorn Vienna. The zither music of Anton Karas set the tone for this black and white dark drama. The chase in the vast sewer system beneath the streets is a master class in photography, as is the lonely walk down a country road by Valli at the end as she passes Joseph Cotton without a glance.

Why would anyone attach such a comment onto a great movie? This list is a good representation of movies over the decades. Most of the movies mentioned in the negative comment are very computer produced and only came about in the past ten years. Movies, good movies, and yes even great movies were made long before this time period. Instead of commenting negatively, add your movies and vote for them. Meanwhile, Play it again, Sam.

This list is terrible. People putting crap old B - Moves ahead of The Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings? In a perfect world the top 10 would consist or the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Chronicles of Narnia movies, the Pirates of the Carribean movies, The Golden Compass and Avatar

It is the movie that all other movie makers want to make. It cannot be overrated. Great acting, a great script, the pacing, the drama, the humor, the cinematography - if someone could only see one movie in their lifetime, Casablanca is the one.

This is one of the movies that you can watch over and over again, without ever diminishing the experience. A noir masterpiece, from the golden days of cinema, Casablanca is possibly the best movie I've ever seen, and Rick Blaine is without a doubt one of those unforgettable characters that will still win our hearts.

“Popcorn pictures have always ruled. Why do people go see these popcorn pictures when they’re not good? Why is the public so stupid? That’s not my fault. I just understood what people like to go see, and Steven [Spielberg] has, too, and we go for that.” – George Lucas

Star wars is a great series. A load of action, bravery, love, and many more things I could list, but i believe Star wars should at least be a 4 in my opinion.
