Giant maps, 12 vs 12 battles on console and 32 vs 32 in PC, mind-blowing graphics, tactical destruction, squad-based strategy, the biggest selection of weapons and vehicles, 5 awesome DLCs, and the most epic aerial and terrestrial tactical warfare on a multiplayer videogame ever. And the campaing also diserves a mention. Did you ever wanted to feel like a real soldier? If the answer is yes, this campaign is for you.

Even though this game was released way back in 2004, it still rivals 2008-2010 games in both graphics and gameplay. The best part of this game is the story mode, which must be considered one of the best stories in all of the first person shooter series.

The coolest thing here is that every part of the scenery is part of the game. You can blow up walls to get to your enemy, which makes this a fun game with no place to hide.

While Halo and Call of Duty seem to get all the press, Red Dead Redemption is possibly the best first person shooter on the market, and is likely to win the 2010 Game of the Year. Unbelievable graphics and a great story to a western style game match with very smooth game play.

This game is unique in the pure size of the battlefields and the number of players in the game (usually 256) very good game play make this game a sure fire top ten. If future versions have improved graphics, this could easily move into the top spot.

not only the best......but has got to be the scariest

This is a squad based shooter, where you control the squad leader, and must take your squad safely thru hordes of battles. Very nice story mode. Graphics above average at release date, compares with 2010 games, but not quite in the top ten.
