I would have to rank Rocky below Liston and Tyson I'm afraid. I know the guy was tough but he was just too little and I don't just mean his weight. His reach was too short. Holyfield showed a fighter can put on weight to compete at heavyweight so he could have been up there but there is a tendancy to cut. Razor sharp jabs like Holmes and Ali would keep him ay bay and mess his face up. Slow to start to and that canonly end one way against Foreman and probably Tyson who was extremely effective in the first 3 rounds.

Having now studied all available internet footage of Johnson, I have come to the conclusion that he is overrated. In the vast majority of cases it was just a case of a big black man beating up a little white guy. And there are occassions of the little guys knocking him down or even out. I can appreciate his parrying made him difficult to hit but alot of his time is spent grapling. Can you really see this guy blocking punches with a Mike Tyson or Joe Frazier raging at him from every angle? And with that suspect chin? I don't think so some how but I do see him perhaps being successful against a lumbering giant like Foreman
