As a grunge girl, I loved me some flannel. While the look could be grungy and dirty on guys, girls could make it look cool and sexy by pairing a flannel with a tank top, denim skirt, and of course a pair of combat boots. Man, I miss the 90s.

Guys wore them with jeans or shorts, girls wore them with anything from jeans to dresses. These babies looked bad-*ss with just about anything.

Fake Tattoos
Had I been of tattooing age in the 90s, I may have just ended up with a tribal tattoo. Luckily though I was a young teen so instead I would rock an ever-changing variety of fake tattoos including flaming hearts, swords with snakes wrapped around them, tribal designs, blue birds, skulls, etc etc.

Available with either short of long legs, overalls were quite the rage in the early 90s. You could wear them with one strap down, like Wyclef Jean or with both straps up like Lauren Hill.

High Waisted Jeans
High waisted jeans have made a comeback, but the thing about today's high waisted jeans is that they are typically super tight and stretchy, while the high waisted jeans of the 90s were sort of baggy and made you look like you were trying to hide 5-10 unwanted pounds.
