The Supremes
These ladies were definitely the supreme girl group, powered by the amazing vocals of Diana Ross. Even though Ross left in 1970, the group continued performing until 1977, giving them an amazing 18 year-long run. Their hits included: Baby Love, Where Did Our Love Go, Come See About Me, and many many others.

The Shirelles
This was one of the first girl groups, and they began recording when they were all 16 and 17 years old. Amazingly, this group is still performing their hits, with all their original members. They're most famous song is probably "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?"
