Fast Times at Ridgemont High Report Abuse
The cast of this film is absolutely phenomena: Sean Penn, Phoebe Cates, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Judge Reinhold, etc. Add to that the writing of Cameron Crowe and you really have a winner. Sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking, this film following the lives of several California teens is both entertaining and poignant.

The Breakfast Club Report Abuse
While certain aspects of this movie haven't aged all that well, the basic concept remains timeless. When in high school we all get pigeonholed into certain groups and once we are placed there it is virtually impossible to break out of them. Excellent performances from the "brat pack" make this movie a classic.

Say Anything Report Abuse
I once read an article that claimed that John Cusack's Lloyd Dobbler has ruined any man's chance of every living up to a woman's expectations. Too true. This movie really touched the hearts of a generation, with lovable yet aimless underachieving kickboxer who somehow gets the attention of the high school valedictorian. Cusack's performance is so earnest and endearing, making every girl hope for the day that a boy stands outside her window with a boom box blasting Peter Gabriel songs.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off Report Abuse
Bueller? Bueller? This movie is filled with classic quotable lines. But I think the most important thing we can learn from charming rule-breaker, Ferris Bueller, is this: "live moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it."

Valley Girl Report Abuse
This movie is totally underrated. Sure, some of the dialogue might "like totally" make you cringe, but the movie is solid. A young and steamy Nicholas Cage is a hollywood punk who falls for his exact opposite, a middle-class girl from the Valley. The star-crossed lovers are ultimately broken up by the girls from the Valley who just can't handle their friend dating an outsider, but Nicholas Cage's character has his victory in the end, set to the Modern English song "Melt with You." Priceless.
