Worst Cases of Actors Trying to Be Musicians

It's hard to tell if Phoenix was serious about his decision to enter the world of gangsta rap, or if it was all some sort of strange ill-conceived hoax to promote his film I'm Still Here. Either way, footage of him rapping, while dressed as a Blues Brothers-esque hobo have spread rampantly through the internet and it isn't pretty. It's sad really, since he is such an amazing actor. I'm not quite sure how you bounce back from this one.

Who could've possibly thought this was a good idea? Apparently he took on Ice-T as an advisor, but that didn't do much to help his rap career. While the song "Treat Your Mother Right," carries a fine message about respecting your mother, the whole thing is rather ill-conceived to the point of absurdity.

This is a man of many talents, he drove a talking car in the 80s, ran around the beaches of Baywatch, and had a drunken episode with a double bacon cheeseburger. And that's not even mentioning his "hit" song Jump Into My Car. I guess he is still longing for his Knight Rider days.

I can barely stand listening to her speak, why would I possibly want to hear her sing?

Apparently, years after the buzz about My Cousin Vinny died down, Pesci though it would be a good idea to release an album of songs sung by Vincent Laguardia Gambini.

Remember Joey? Whoa! Yeah, he released an album too. Although I do remember the song "Nothing My Love Can't Fix For You Baby," what is more memorable is the SNL spoof of the teen heart throb dancing around to a song with the one lyric, "whoa" repeated over and over and over again.

He just wants to "party all the time, party all the time" ... but this song hardly calls for celebration.
