Best Episodes of Beverly Hills 90210

I'll admit it, usually 90210 was pretty cheesy, but the final scene in this episode when Dylan's father is blown up in a car bomb is heart-wrenching and painful. Well done.

Brandon gets into a drunk driving accident and then decides he has a drinking problem. Not to be confused with the time that he realizes that he has a gambling problem.

Really, anytime Emily Valentine shows up it's pretty great. So, after slipping Brandon euphoria at a seedy underground rave, Emily can't deal with the fact that Brandon doesn't want to have anything to do with her anymore. Solution? She comes to his house wearing his favorite Twins jersey (because he's a twin and he's from Minnesota!), and then she threatens to set fire to the homecoming float that he and the gang had worked so hard on.

Again, Emily Valentine, gotta love her. Here she shows the gang how cool she is by telling of them about some secret rave where you have to "exchange an egg" in order to get in. Trying to get Brandon to loosen up she buys some euphoria from a guy with a big 4 on his shirt. If only scoring drugs were that easy.

In the midst of Jackie and Mel's wedding, Kelly starts a romance with super hot older man, Jake. Was this plot line only conceived of to introduce the show Melrose Place? No, 90210 would never resort to such obvious advertising ploys.

After insulting the dress that Brenda picks out for the Spring Dance, Kelly shows up in the same dress, but then blames Brenda for buying it first. Mr. Walsh comments that the girls look like the Bobsey Twins and there is much eye-rolling. Oh, and Brenda finally loses her virginity to Dylan.

Kelly almost joins a cult

Kelly starts doing coke because she wants her cool artist boyfriend to like her.

In a steamy pool scene, Dylan finally chooses Kelly over Brenda. Telling her, "it's you ... it's always been you." Swoon.

Enter Valerie Malone ... bad girl, master manipulator, and one-time smoker of marijuana. Oh, the Beverly Hills Gang will never be the same again.

Kelly gets amnesia

Cindy is thinking about having an affair.

Dylan goes to a hypnotist and sees himself in past lives ... and who is always there? Kelly!

With the pressures of his college radio show getting to him, David turns to caffeine pills. Within a few episodes he's a junkie, taking some sort of speed that can only be ingested in orange juice. Strange.
