Shake Shack - Madison Square Park (E. 23rd St. & Madison Ave)

The Shake Shack offers what are possibly the best burgers in town along, with juicy hot dogs and delicious blended frozen custards for dessert. And if you don't feel like sucking down one of their classic milkshakes, beer and wine is also available. The Shake Shack is now also available at Citi Field.

DuMont Burger - 432 Union Ave (Williamsburg, Brooklyn)

Hearty burgers, low prices, and an expansive back garden to hang out in ... what more could you want? There is another location on Bedford Avenue which is more casual and a lot less spacious.

Burger Joint - 119 W. 56th St

Hidden behind a curtain in a corner of the lobby of the Le Parker Meridien is this secret snack bar serving grilled burgers with the works, fries, milkshakes and beer on tap. Slumming it never felt so right.

Burgers and Cupcakes - 458 9th Ave

There are burgers AND cupcakes. That's really all you need, right? These delicious burgers are low in price and high in meaty goodness. There are even low fat options like turkey and veggie burgers, but I see no reason for that sort of nonsense. Couple that with a red velvet cupcake and you're good to go.
