The English Patient
Beautifully filmed. Superbly acted. But it never goes anywhere. The mad rambling memories of an English Patient on the battlefields of WWII. This movie would reach creshendo after creshendo and never, ever get to anything important.

Sky Captain & the Land of Tomorrow
It's not the acting - it's not the filming - it's the combination. Somehow, some way, this movie got cut to pieces, glued back together again, and never quite figured out which parts were supposed to go with which. Trying to piece together what went where made my head hurt.

Reign of Fire
I love fantasy movies - dragons and dungeons and faeries, oh my! But I couldn't get into this, I just couldn't. It has no plot, no structure, and no talent. Sad but true.
