I have to admit it - Bobbie Holloway makes this book for me. The highly detailed characters become friends before you're three chapters in, and that is quite the acomplishment.
2.
Odd Thomas - the protagonist of the story - is perhaps the best crafted character in literature since Elizabeth Bennet.
3.
This novel is finely crafted and leaves you with high hopes for the human race. If for no other reason, that is a reason to read Breathless.
4.
Rarely does an end of the world novel fill you with as much hope as this one does. For everything that is loss, something better is gained in THE TAKEN.
5.
