Uffizi Gallery, Florence, Italy is one of the oldest museums in the world. I love their ancient marble sculptures. Beautiful works by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo as well.

Michelangelo's David at the end of the hall of slaves. the waves of tour groups stop there, leaving the back galleries, filled with iconic art and few visitors. Sit for a few minutes on one of the benches near David and watch the facial expressions of the throngs as they enter the hall of slaves. The power of art.
