Insect Bites Report Abuse
Onions contain sulfur, which will neutralize an itch caused by an insect bite. A yellow onion is best but any will help if you do not have yellow. Slice the onion in half and rub one of the cut sides on the bite. The itching should stop immediately

Sinus Pain Report Abuse
Have you ever put salt on a slug? The same thing happens to the built up mucus in your nasal passages. Put one teaspoon of salt in six ounces of warm water. Breathe it in through your nostrils. The salt dissolves any mucous build-up.

Muscle Strain Report Abuse
My grandmother use to make me an Epson salt bath when I was young of course I thought it was funny, turns out this is a tried and true method of relieving sore muscles and muscle strains. Epsom salts contain magnesium, a mineral that relaxes muscles when absorbed through your skin. Pour 2 cups of Epsom salts into a tub filled with warm water and soak for 15-20 minutes.
