It just wasn't funny. I don't see how it's any better than any of the other US 'comedies' the rest of the world has to put up with. Friends, Frasier, Arrested Development, Becker, Spin City, etc.. None of it funny. Not everybody loves raymond, I can tell you that. South Park and the Simpsons are pretty good, but that's about it.
