An underrated masterpiece with philosophical life aspects touched upon in similar films like "The Shawshank Redemption". One hell of cast including Martin lawrence, and Bernie Mac. Endless memorable quotes. Bittersweet with parts that will fill your eyes with tears of both joy and sadness.

Imagining the movie Shrek without Eddie Murphy playing the lovable, though annoying Donkey, seems impossible. The interplay between Murphy and Myers was comedy gold.
