This is the google blog, and as such it is pretty well done. This is nice because it is completely customizable.

While this may once have been the site of angsty teenagers the blog craze has hit this site with style, and since Livejournal has been around forever it is very customizable and has a huge following.

This site is nice because if offers unlimited bandwidth, photo, video and podcast sharing. If you plan on having a blog involving any of those, this might be your best bet.
