Alan Border, who is now a member of Australian cricket hall of fame, is one of the best cricketers the world has ever seen. This former Australian captain holds the record for being the first person to score 11000 runs in test cricket with an excellent average of 50.56. This batsman who led captained the Australian team in 93 matches was at the helm when Australia won their first world cup in the year 1987.
