Funny. The best Scottish band not even on your list of 68 bands. They'd actually be very pleased with that. 🏴

I have no idea why this band isn't in the Top 10 of all Scottish bands. Warnings & Promises is a fantastic album, as is The Remote Part.

Seriously underrated, 100 Broken Windows and The Remote Part are phenomenal. Its shameful some of the bands that are above these.

Was fortunate enough to see them on their first foray to the US in 1999, and it inspired me to start drumming the following week. Two years later, the band I formed as a drummer began touring, and still is touring (in 2016)... Amazing, inspiring, depth almost beyond perception. Thank you Scotland for the gift of Mogwai.

Why are they not even mentioned, one of the most influential and game changing bands in british music history.. screamadelic and exterminator are masterpieces and they never really did the same song twice. Also if you check out 'velocity girl' you will hear the blueprint for every song from the stone roses debut album which might just be the perfect pop album. and big shout for Alex Harvey to be high up for all you rock fans. best scottish frontman in history and the inspiration behind the real ACDC... as for calvin harris???? F**K RIGHT OFF. that's just embarrassing even claiming him to be Scottish let alone on this list
