Omg... I don't care what anyone else says... The show beats all of the other supernatural shows. Others may come farely close all the time but this is the best. It took me one ep. to get hooked then I downloaded every season onto my laptop and I have loved watching it on TV every since.~Me~

MY FAVORITE SHOW EVER!!! I didn't watch it when it first came out in 2008, but I started to watch it online a week ago and now I'm all caught up!! I watched like 7 episodes a day!!!! I LOVE DAMON SALVATORE!!!!!

i flipping love this... god i need to grow up! i'm 35 for god sake and cant get enuf vampire shows,books,audio books .. i've gone vampire mad!.. i never used to like vampire stuff now im a vamp junky! love it

Why isn't this #1? Buffy the Vampire Slayer, with Angle as a close second, is without question the best show ever put on the air, and so therefore obviously the best vampire show.

Obviously these ‘fans’ on here are really just fluff little girls around the age of 7. I mean even at 10 I could appreciate nasferatu and most certainly dark shadows far more than some of these poor excuses for tv.

How can this not be near the top of the list. If you haven't ever seen this classic late 60's goth vamp soap opera , you owe it to yourself to check it out, I believe a lot of the episodes are still on netflix.

Though not strictly about vampires, it is one of the better scripted and acted shows containing them. Its a crying shame it was cancelled after only 1 season.
