Edgar Winter Report Abuse
He had already become an international sensation in his 20s. He already knew every aspect of the medium before reaching adulthood. He invented the keyboard strap. Was the first to use the synthesizer as the lead in a song. Has had numerous albums go platinum. Is still having his music used WITH him, by "contemporary" artists. Has found an audience with all the entertainment aspects - music, film, and tv. You'd have to have grown up without music to not know all the words to at least a few of his songs. I mean, the man's beyond a prodigy, he's beyond a legend.
