Was the first to use the synthesizer as the lead in a song. Has had numerous albums go platinum. Is still having his music used WITH him, by "contemporary" artists. Has found an audience with all the entertainment aspects - music, film, and tv.
You'd have to have grown up without music to not know all the words to at least a few of his songs. I mean, the man's beyond a prodigy, he's beyond a legend.
