Step Up 2 had a better storyline though. And that last dance scene in the rain at the end was SICK ! Much cooler than the final scene of Step 3D with those silly LED lights.

Yes, this was a great movie, but I hope it's not long untill Step Up 3 is on top, because the dancing in number 3 is simply brilliant! It makes the dancing in this video look like amateurs, and that's saying something! ^^

You have the wrong movie. Footloose is with Kevin Bacon and deals with a teen who loves dancing and moved to a town where music and dancing are forbidden

This movie should be on top of this list - it's way better than both Step Up 1 and 2 ! Bought it the day it came out in Norway - absolutely amazing dancemoves, great story and simply overall awesome!

This is the most skilled dancing I've ever seen in a dance-movie. You can clearly see that they hired dancers to do the dance, and not just some good-dancing actors! :-) 10/10 from me!

Movie is utterly boring. But the dance routines are just superb. I loved it. If you are looking for hardcore dancing, watch this STRICTLY for the dance routines. Ethan Stiefel is a treat to watch- Man what a brilliant dancer!

All of the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies , 'An American in Paris', 'Kiss Me Kate' , 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers' Report Abuse
How on earth do you compile a list of dance movies with no mention of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, or the incomparable Gene Kelly's marvellous ballet sequence in 'An American in Paris', the great Bob Fosse's choreography for 'Kiss Me Kate', and Michael Kidd's brilliant choreography for 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers'? It seems to me that the compilers of this list need to broaden their horizons and get out more!

"Lambada," starring actor J. Eddie Peck blew "The ForBADone Dance" off the screen. The dancing, story and acting was much better. An insult to have this movie ranked next to the classic, "Saturday Night Fever."
