After Michelangelo started to participate at the meetings organised by Lorenzo de Medici, with famous Italian writers and humanists, he felt sorry he didn't learn Greek and Latin, but this meetings were like a second school for him.

This is true. He wasn't forced, but rather blackmailed, because the Pope knew that Michelangelo was fat, and threatened to tell everyone, as ray was a shameful thing back then.
Michelangelo wasn't forced to create the paintings on the altar wall and the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. He chose to do it to spite the Pope's architect, Bramante and Bramante's prodige, Raphel.
I feel bad for michelangelo but to think he is doing it against his will and it is that good the guy is amazing.

Michelangelo for life
:)
Honestly, he was. Many people back then were too, sadly (not to offend anyone). Michelangelo loved at least 5 men, and one woman in his later years. If you want any more information on this, search Michelangelo on Wikipedia and click on Personal Life.
After all the masterpieces he created, is this thing really important? I don't think so. But, for those who want to know... he actually loved two women and composed poems for both. When he was old he started to feel something for a young man, Tommaso, who helped him with his work.
However, remember something Michelangelo said: "If you would take the art out of my veins, I would not have enough blood in me to spit." This is important, not his sexual orientation.
Read "The Agony And The Ecstasy" by Irving Stone and you'll understand more. [:
Really? You had to put that? What if a child saw it and they went around saying it? it would get them in a lot of trouble.
